
A gurt big cabbage - kapusta if you will - nearly ready for harvest. Any pride in its growth, is offset by the fact that, um, I didn't plant it - it planted itself, near my runner beans. 1-0 to nature over nurture I'd say.

I did, however, plant these and other lettuce and with most of the slugs being on holiday in slimeland or slumbering, there's enough to pick most days.

The celery loved all the recent rain and mild weather and keeps on producing stems for the pot.

Most of the green tomatoes I brought inside last month have ripened, prolonging a perpetual supply of about 3 months now. Will save some seed from the big 'uns.
