Prize Vegetable

Despite appearances, this chap isn't having a dump. But he has just dumped rubbish in the hedgerow of the cyclepath, opposite this house in Clay Bottom. He might be the owner, tenant or gardener and he may or may not be the person who has been dumping household and garden waste here and on the nearby path up to Rajani's warehouse for many months.

Below: Some of the rubbish dumped on the path to Rajani's earlier this year.

Clean sweep

I've written to the council many times about the flytipping that goes on around here but it still happens every week. I'm not sure what winds me up more; the gits who do this sort of thing, or the council's unwillingness to take the matter seriously and catch the perpetrators.

Rubbish

To: Bristol City Council, SITA, Steve Rogers, Kenny Poucher, Alan Kemmett, Aled Williams & other deskbound, ineffectual bureaucrats.

Dear Sir/Madam/Ms.,

I've just spent half an hour picking litter on the cyclepath from Greenbank to Fishponds.
You have not been charged for this service or the supply of bin bags and protective gloves.
Should you have a shortage of cleansing staff and are unable to perform this duty on a regular basis, please inform me of the hourly rate paid to street cleansers so that I can invoice you accordingly.

Yours,
